How songs and credits work
- 1 song = 10 credits, and every song comes in 2 versions.
- Want another take? An extra version is 5 credits.
- The instrumental (beat only) of a song is 15 credits.
- If a song fails, its credits come back automatically.
FAQ
What is a credit?
Credits pay for the song step. One song costs 10 credits and comes in two versions. An extra version costs 5 credits, and an instrumental download costs 15. Writing lyrics never uses credits.
Do unused songs carry over?
No. Monthly plans give you new songs every month, and the Annual plan every year. Songs you didn't use don't carry over. Song Pack songs can be used any time within 90 days.
Can I change my plan?
Yes, from your account page. An upgrade starts right away: you pay only the difference for the rest of the month (or year) and get the extra songs at once. A downgrade starts on your next billing date.
What happens if a song fails?
The credits go back to your account automatically. You never pay for a song that didn't come out.
How long are my songs kept?
On the free plan, songs are kept for 7 days. Once you subscribe, your songs never expire, even if you cancel later. A song sent as a gift is kept forever.
How does a Gift Song work?
Make a song first, then choose Send as a gift on its page. For $19.90, the song is kept forever and you get a link to share. Whoever opens it can listen and download the song without an account.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription any time from your account page.
